Snupi Guarantee

We take your dog’s safety seriously. This is what the Guarantee covers today, with clear conditions and no empty promises.

What the Snupi Guarantee is

If your dog needs urgent veterinary care because of something that happened during a service booked and paid on Snupi, we reimburse veterinary costs up to €1,500 per booking. Property damage caused by the dog at the sitter’s home is covered up to €500 per booking. The Snupi Guarantee is a voluntary, discretionary reimbursement programme run by Snupi. It is not an insurance policy and does not replace liability insurance.

Conditions

Reimbursement applies when: the booking was made and paid through Snupi; the incident happened during the service period; you contact us within 48 hours of the incident (ola@snupi.pt); you provide the vet invoices; and you cooperate with our review. We respond to every claim within 24 hours.

What is not covered

Pre-existing health conditions; incomplete or incorrect information about the dog (behaviour, health, bite history); arrangements made off the platform; and bookings not paid through Snupi.

Verified sitters

Every sitter submits an ID document and is reviewed manually by Snupi before appearing on the marketplace. Nothing goes public without approval.

Protected payment

You pay by card through Stripe, a licensed payment provider. The money is only transferred to the sitter after the stay is completed. If the sitter declines, you are refunded in full.

Real reviews

Only people who completed a booking can review. No fake reviews, no exceptions.

Emergencies

On every booking we ask for an emergency contact and vet details, and you authorise urgent veterinary care at checkout. So nobody loses time when every minute counts.
