Your safety and your dog’s are our priority. Here’s how we protect you: 🔍 Verified sitters Every sitter submits an ID document and is reviewed manually by Snupi before appearing. Nothing goes public without approval. ⭐ Real reviews Only people who completed a booking can review, no fake reviews. 💬 On-platform communication Keep messages on Snupi: everything stays logged and protected. 🤝 Meet & Greet We recommend a free meet before the first stay. 🐾 Dog passport Vaccines and medical notes always at the sitter’s hand. ⚠️ Report and block See something wrong? Report it on any booking or chat, we review every case. 🆘 Emergencies We ask for an emergency contact on every booking and the owner authorises urgent vet care at checkout. 🛡️ Snupi Guarantee Vet cost reimbursement up to €1,500 on bookings paid on the platform, with clear conditions at snupi.pt/garantia. It is a discretionary Snupi programme, not insurance. 🚫 Restricted breeds By law (Portaria 422/2004), potentially dangerous breeds require a dedicated licence and insurance; for now we do not accept bookings for these breeds. Coming soon: enhanced verification and broader insurance. We always communicate honestly what already exists.
